Victorian Blue Enamel Pearl Locket
A beautiful locket from the mid Victorian period, c1860s. The locket is made from solid 15ct gold and has the most wonderful deep blue enamel to the front. At the centre of the enamel is a stunning natural pearl flower. The pearls have a beautiful appearance with a creamy lustre and contrast with the enamel perfectly. The locket is complete with a rope twist design around the edge and has wonderful floral chased detail to the back. It opens on a hinge. Inside, the inner slips are missing, though you could still store a photo inside securely as there is a lip to the gold on each side.
