Victorian Coral Dog Charm
A wonderful example of this style of charm. It dates to the Victorian period and is carved out of natural coral. The charm is a lovely little dog (perhaps a labrador?) that has been beautifully carved with plenty of detail. Its tail curves around to the back and he sits hunched in postion, mimicking the stance of a dog perfectly. The coral has some natural colour variation with one side showing a pretty streak of white. The charm has been set on a 9ct gold post and has a star to the bottom; a beautiful finish.
