Victorian Decorative Star Pendant
A wonderful pendant from the late Victorian period, possibly French in origin. The pendant has been made in the shape of a star and has beautiful floral decorative elements within the design. It tests as 18ct gold and has a little mark on the side of the brooch fastening. This could be an eagle head French hallmark, though it is impossible to decipher. The style of construction is very French. The pendant can be worn as a pendant or the bail can be tucked away and the star could be worn as a brooch. A beautiful and decorative piece that is a good size.
