Victorian Diamond Dangle Earrings

£425.00

A lovely pair of earrings from the late Victorian period. They look to be French in origin, though there are no marks, and test as 18ct gold. They are beautifully made and have a delicate finish, though they are sturdy in their structure. They have a decorative ring around the outside, which is set with diamond slices and a pretty dangling claw set rose diamond at the centre. So pretty and elegant. The earrings are complete with dormeuse fastenings that have a little lip that clicks them securely into place.

Details:

Materials - 18ct Gold (white to the front, tested), Diamonds

Age - Late Victorian

Size - The earrings measure approx 16mm long from the top of the hook to the base of the circle. They are around 9mm wide.

Condition - Excellent. The diamonds are all freeform rather than uniform in shape.

Weight - 1.85g the pair
