A stunning pendant from the late Victorian period. The pendant has a gorgeous, large ball of banded agate as the centrepiece, which is dark and stormy with a band of white around the centre. It is set with a wonderful star studded with chunky old mine cut diamonds. The diamonds are beautifully cut with no two diamonds the same and sparkle prettily in their silver setting. The ball is finished with a 15ct gold flower on either end and a 15ct bail.
Hanging from the bottom is a lovely tassel from the same period. This tests as 9ct gold and the two pieces are likely a marriage, though they sit perfectly together. The pendant makes such a beautiful statement and is a striking item.
