Victorian Double Heart Halo Ring
A gorgeous ring with a beautiful subject from the Victorian period. The ring is made from a soft gold brass, which you’d be forgiven for thinking is gold, and has a name inside the shank that I am unable to decipher. It is likely French in origin. The gold metal surround holds a dark blue/black tassie carving that has two flaming hearts with a halo above engraved into it. The intaglio does stamp into wax and it leaves the emblem behind. A lovely piece symbolising passionate love and spiritualism.
Details:

Age - Mid Victorian
Size - The glass measures approx 7mm in diameter.
Ring Size - UK M 3/4 US Tight 6 3/4 This ring cannot be resized
Condition - Very good
Weight - 4.78g
