A stunning and unusual locket from the Victorian period. The locket is made from solid 15ct gold and has a wonderful halo of real pearls. At the centre is a bouquet of flowers set with diamond chips and natural seed pearls against a vibrant blue enamel background. To the back, there is a circular glass covered locket. This frame can be removed to place your own photo inside. The locket is complete with a wonderful rose diamond bail that sparkles prettily with its decorative design.
The locket is pictured on a fine gold chain that is for display only. The bail is a fairly tight fit and would need a fine chain with a fairly fine fastening ring. For information, the chain pictured is a foxlink chain that is around 1.2mm wide with an oval fastening ring that is around 3mm wide. This fed through the diamond bail with relative ease.
