Victorian Etruscan Revival Silver Earrings

£0.00
sold out

A wonderful pair of drop earrings from the late Victorian period, c1880s. The earrings are made from sterling silver and have pretty applied details to strikingly shaped drops. The earrings have an interesting conical shape with ball drops on the end. They may have started life as a larger piece of jewellery, perhaps a big silver beaded necklace, though they came to us as they are and have been converted expertly. They are finished with shepherds hook fixtures and look wonderful in the ear due to their good size.

Details:

Materials - Sterling Silver (tested)

Age - Late Victorian

Size - The earrings measure approx 43.8mm long excluding the hooks and are around 11.8mm wide on the balls.

Condition - Very good. Some patina to the silver

Weight - 7.9g the pair
