Victorian Etui Pendant
A lovely, ornate pendant from the Victorian period. The pendant looks to have been an etui, a small case that would have held practical items such as scissors, a thimble, needles etc., that would likely have hung from a chatelaine. Only the case remains in this instance and it is a beautiful piece with plenty of decorative detailing. It opens on a push catch to the front and clicks shut securely. It is made from gilded metal and is a rich, vibrant colour.
The chain pictured is for display only. The pendant has a fairly large bail, ideal for medium weight chains.
