Victorian French 18ct Locket
A beautiful locket from the late Victorian period, c1880s. The locket is made from solid 18ct gold and is classically French in its design and look. It has a lovely machined pattern to the front with little dots in the circular lines. There is a rope twist detail around the central oval and the locket is the same to the back. Inside, there is a frame and original glass that opens on a hinge. The locket closes with a firm click and is a good size for this style of locket.
The chain pictured is for display only.
Details:

Age - Late Victorian
Size - The locket measures approx 25mm excluding the bail, by around 19mm wide. The bail makes the length 32mm
