A stunning necklace from the late Victorian period. The necklace is made from two shorter length watch chains and they are French in origin, both marked with the boars head indicating at least 800 silver. One has a chunky twist link with a flower at the centre and the other is a panel link with a quatrefoil design in the middle. Both are complete with dog clips with good springs. They are too short to be worn alone, though they unclip from each other with ease and could be worn as bracelets or have shorter extenders added for a more choker look.
They are such lovely chains and make a real statement when worn together such as this.
