Victorian French Jet Earrings
A stunning pair of earrings from the mid Victorian period. The earrings are lovely, dramatic drops with expertly cut French jet, a popular glass simulant of Whitby jet from this period. They have been expertly made with a tactile concave appearance to the front and set in 9ct gold frames to the back. The earrings have the original shepherd hook fastenings that are attached on a little hinge to the top to allow you to put them in your ear with ease and fasten on the bottom hook when in place.
