A stunning pair of earrings from the early Victorian period with wonderful old cut paste stones. Paste is a type of glass that has been reinforced and was created to imitate diamonds. The stones are individually hand cut giving them variation in their shapes and have a black dot at the back of each stone to mimic the culet of an old cut diamond. The clear paste sit in a geometric design and have silver closed back settings with 9ct gold hooks.
They are a lovely large size, whilst not being too heavy, and look fabulous when worn.
