Victorian Glass Heart Locket
A lovely heart locket from the late Victorian period, c1890s. The locket has a frame that is made from solid 14kt gold, marked 585 on the bail. This heart shaped frame holds two glass panels, slightly domed to the exterior. The frame is held together by a screw top, which you can undo to put your own photos inside, back to back to view one from either side.
Please note, this locket could not hold gemstones for a shaker style and is a photo locket only. The chain pictured is for display only.

Size - The heart measures approx 25mm long excluding the bail and is around 22.5mm wide. Including the bail, the length is around 37mm.
Condition - Very good. There is a chip to the inside tip of one glass. This cannot be seen from the outer when a photo is inserted and is not at all noticeable.
