Victorian Gold Decorative Earrings
A pretty pair of earrings from the Victorian period, c1880s. The earrings are made from 15ct gold and are a hollow construction. They have a lovely puffy shape with pretty applied decoration to the front on all three elements. These types of original earrings are becoming more and more difficult to find, particularly without any dents. These are a lovely example and lightweight making them easy to wear.

Materials - 15ct Gold (tested)
Age - C1880s
Size - The earrings measure approx 28mm long excluding the hooks and are around 12mm wide on the widest circle at the bottom.
Condition - Very good. Some wear commensurate with age. No notable dents. A little of the beading around the edge of one of the larger circles is missing and a little of the decoration on the same earring is also missing. Nothing at all obvious when worn
