A pretty and unusual pair of earrings from the Victorian period. The earrings have beautiful hardstone torpedo drops, which have been polished to a lovely tactile shape and exhibit gorgeous natural stripes throughout. They are topped by 15ct gold settings; the richness contrasts beautifully with the natural stones. The earrings are complete with 9ct gold shepherds hooks, which are replacements to the originals.

Size - The earrings measure approx 30mm long excluding the hooks. The stones are around 9mm wide at the base. Including the hooks, they are 40mm long.
Condition - Very good. Wear commensurate with age. One drop appears to be ever so slightly longer than the other; they would have been made this way and the goldsmith has worked with the stones available to them.
