Victorian Hardstone Scent Bottle
A pretty little scent bottle from the Victorian period. The bottle is made from a beautiful green hardstone that has a lovely mottled appearance in its smooth surface. The hardstone has been polished into a heart shape and is topped by a gold coloured metal screw top. The top has a little safety chain connecting it to the bottle and the screw holds firm. There is a bail on the top allowing the scent bottle to be hung from a necklace or bracelet. A lovely little piece.
