A beautiful heart charm from the late Victorian period. The charm is made from solid 9ct gold and has a slightly angular design to the heart. It is engraved to the front with a foliate design with more engraving to the back to complete the look. The back has a circular glass covered locket. This appears to be fixed in place and is for aesthetics only. The charm could be worn either way and is a pretty example of the style of the period.
