A stunning locket from the turn of the last century, c1900. The locket is made from solid 9ct gold, marked on the outside edge, and is a lovely large size. It has a chased detail frame to one side and plain to the back. It holds two domed glass hearts making the locket double sided, allowing for a photo to show through to the front and the back. The plain side slides out with ease to allow you to place your photos inside, though is the perfect fit to stay in place. The locket has its original bail and looks beautiful on a chain.

Size - The heart measures approx 27mm long excluding the bail, by around 24.5mm wide. The bail increases the length to 41mm.
Condition - Very good. One of the glass panes has nibbles to the edge on the underside. This cannot be seen when worn.
