Victorian Opal Flower Slide Pendant with Ruby
An absolutely wonderful slide pendant from the Victorian period. The pendant is made from solid 18ct gold and has the most beautiful opals claw set in a flower formation. The opals have the most vivid colours and are entirely original and natural. At the centre of the flower is a little ruby and the piece is finished with a coiled stem. A chain would fit behind the flower and thread through the centre of the coil. The bottom of the stem creates a hook that you would hook the chain around and this should enable the piece to stay in place. A truly wonderful little gem in excellent condition.
