A pretty pendant from the end of the Victorian period. The pendant is made from sterling silver and has been converted from a brooch at some point, though it came to me as it is. It is a lovely large envelope with applied rose and yellow gold leaves to the front and a 9ct gold bail. The envelope flap opens to allow you to place your own note inside; perhaps a love letter! The size makes it a real statement piece and it looks great on a gold or silver chain.

Condition - Very good. There are two dents in the back where the brooch fitting would have been removed. The photo of the back has a big reflection on it making it look dark; it is beautiful shiny silver.
