A wonderful chunky seal pendant from the Victorian period. The seal is a gorgeous oversized style with a coiled snake on the top that has the bail made from the twists of the body. The snake has a large head with excellent details and it exhibits the look of movement overall as the body twists around itself. The base has a decorative fluted top and is set with a lovely orange carnelian. The carnelian is engraved with the letters ‘GC’ in a gothic script.
