Victorian Petite Pearl & Turquoise Locket
The sweetest little locket from the Victorian period, c1870s. The locket is made from 15ct gold and has four beautiful pearls set into the front in a floral style design. The pearls have an incredible grey lustre, which is fairly unusual in pieces of this style and period. These beautiful pearls are highlighted by little dots of natural turquoise. To the top, the locket has its original pearl studded bail and around the back, you will find the original little glass covered locket. This can be removed if you have a photo tiny enough to place there.
The locket will come on a 14kt gold fill chain similar to the one pictured. The other chain in the picture is not for sale.

Size - The locket measures approx 11mm in diameter. The bail makes the total length 18mm
Condition - Very good. Potentially one tiny pearl missing from the top of the bail, though the setting is not very round so it could be that there never was one there.
