Victorian Puffy Heart Charm
A simple, yet beautiful, heart charm from the late Victorian period, marked Birmingham 1892. The heart is made from solid 9ct gold, with full English hallmarks, and is a hollow construction. It has a lovely puffy shape with a deep cleft to the heart. The gold of the charm would have been ‘bloomed’ giving it a high carat appearance, though this has worn with time and the rosy 9ct glimmers through. This only adds to the charm in my opinion.
The charm will come on a 14kt gold fill chain similar to the one pictured.

Size - The heart measures approx 18mm long excluding the bail, by 15mm wide.
Condition - Good. A few dings here and there, slightly more obvious on the back, please see the pictures. Some tarnish to the bloom as mentioned above.
