Victorian Red Jasper Heart Necklace
A beautiful and unusual necklace from the late Victorian period, c1900. The necklace is made from 9ct gold that has an antique rosy tint to it. It has four wonderful eye shaped settings and a stunning heart at the centre, all set with red jasper. The jasper is an orange/red colour with little clear white rock inclusions throughout. It is unusual to see red jasper set in a necklace such as this and the whole piece is very eye-catching. It is complete with a little dog clip clasp.
