Victorian 'Regard' Enamel Ring

£450.00

A beautiful and understated ring from the Victorian period. The ring is made from around 12ct gold and has a lovely fine panel across the top that has the word ‘Regard’ picked out in gold block letters against a background of black enamel. The enamel is not perfect, though the ring is so charming and sits comfortably in a stack or alone.

The word ‘regard’ was often used in mourning jewellery and is a message of affection and respect.
