Victorian REGARD Ring

£395.00

A lovely and fairly rare-to-find gold example of this style of ring. The ring has full English hallmarks, though the date letter cannot be read distinctly; I believe it could be a Birmingham ‘k’ given the edges on show and this would date the ring to 1884. This fits in with the style as other examples in silver date to this decade. The ring is beautiful with gothic lettering spelling out the word ‘Regard’. It sits flat to the finger and is ideal for everyday wear, either worn alone or in a stack.

Details:

Materials - 9ct Gold (full hallmarks)

Age - Likely date 1884

Size - The ring measures approx 7mm at the top narrowing to around 3.2mm at the back.

Ring Size - UK M US 6 ¼ I would prefer not to resize this ring to preserve the hallmarks

Condition - Excellent. Evidence of the original join at the back of the shank, noted for accuracy only.

Weight - 1.5g
