The ring has full English hallmarks, though the date letter cannot be read distinctly; I believe it could be a Birmingham ‘k’ given the edges on show and this would date the ring to 1884. This fits in with the style as other examples in silver date to this decade. The ring is beautiful with gothic lettering spelling out the word ‘Regard’.
