A stunning pair of earrings from the late Victorian period. The earrings have crescent moon designs, which are set with three rose cut diamonds each. The diamonds sit in a star design, complimenting the celestial theme perfectly. They are made from solid 18ct gold and have dormeuse fastenings making them very secure in the ear.

Details:

Materials - 18ct Gold (tested, some marks on the hooks that are difficult to decipher)

Age - Late Victorian

Size - The crescents measure approx 12mm long excluding the hooks, by 11mm wide.

Condition - Very good. One central diamond is out of round where the edge is flatter on one side than the others. It is hard to know if it was set like this or whether it has happened since. Noted for accuracy only and all diamonds are secure.
