Victorian Russian Agate Egg Charm Necklace
A delightful necklace from the late Victorian period. The charm pendant is a little pale green agate egg with 14kt gold fittings. It is marked with a Russian hallmark on the bail; a ‘56’ for 56/96 zlotniks, the Russian mark for 14kt gold. The petite egg hangs on a Victorian 9ct gold fine chain. Such a lovely piece.
