Victorian Scottish Agate Arrow Brooch

£280.00

A stunning, large brooch from the mid Victorian period, c1860s. The brooch is Scottish in origin and is made from sterling silver. It is beautiful quality and has a lovely weight and feel to it. It has a closed setting, which holds a selection of beautiful agates and hardstones within an arrow design. The arrow is a good size and super cool. It can be worn as a brooch, though it also works well as a chain extender to the front of the neck, as well as a pendant pointing down. Please see the photos.

It does not have hallmarks, though it has been tested as sterling silver. It has a makers mark, CHF, which is likely to be an Edinburgh maker, Charles Henry Farquharson who was active during the majority of the Victorian period. The chain pictured is for display only.
