A gorgeous pair of earrings from the Victorian period. The earrings are made from silver and have been made in the shape of wide, expression-full snake heads. The snakes almost resemble dolphins and this was sometimes the case with snakes from this period. They have lovely ‘boggle’ eyes and an open mouth, from which hangs a silver ball.

Size - The earrings measure approx 24mm long excluding the hooks. They are around 8.9mm wide. The hooks increase the length to approx 35mm
Condition - Very good. Some lovely antique patina to the silver
