Victorian Silver Snake Ring

£220.00

A gorgeous bobbly-eyed snake ring from the late Victorian period. The ring is made from solid silver and is marked with the word ‘Solid’ on the inside of the shank. The ‘d’ of the word is missing, likely from a previous re-sizing, though this is the only evidence of this. The snake is a simple design with the head crossing over past the curled tail. It has little balls of silver to represent the eyes and an endearing, simple face.
