Victorian Silver 'Sputnik' Charm
A gorgeous pendant from the late Victorian period. The charm is made from silver and has a strong hollow construction. It is a ball with little spikes that have been capped with rose gold. The contrast of the spikes with the silver is a lovely detail and this seems to be a very early rendition of the later pendants based on a Sputnik. It has a lovely large bail meaning it could be worn on many different sized chains.
