A stunning and rare to find pendant from the Victorian period. This beautiful piece is made from solid 15ct gold with a higher carat gold wash, giving it a lovely golden glow. This is a wonderful vinaigrette pendant complete with hinged grille and the original sponge within. It is circular in shape and is a little box with the outer covered entirely in a foliate design. The hinges of both the lid and the grille are in excellent working order and the box closes firmly. Such a find!
