A gorgeous book chain from the Victorian period. The chain is made from silver and has a beautiful flexibility with pierced star links at the centre of each link. These are highlighted with a small and large ball on either side and the chain is chunky without being overwhelming. The book chain is complete with a bolt ring clasp, which has a spring closure. This could be used to add charms to the necklace if required, though it looks great worn alone.
