Victorian Turquoise Dome Ring

£0.00
sold out

A stunning and rare ring from the Victorian period, c1870s. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold that has a mildly matte appearance. It has four wonderful pear shaped natural turquoise gemstones set to a point at the centre with gold balls to complete the look. The design was almost certainly influenced by India and its jewellery, as the Victorians actively engaged with the country during the rise of the British Raj.

The ring has such a beautiful presence on the hand and I feel you would be hard pushed to find another.

Details:

Materials - 18ct Gold (tested), Turquoise

Age - C1870s

Size - The central design is around 12mm square. The ring sits approx 8.8mm from the finger.

Ring Size - UK L ½ US 6 I would prefer not to resized this ring, though it could be done by laser if required

Condition - Excellent. The shank is a little oval in shape, please see the side shots.

Weight - 3.09g
