A beautiful pendant from the Victorian period. The pendant is a wonderful dove in flight and is set throughout with natural turquoise. The turquoise is all original and in beautiful condition with a general uniformity and brightness throughout the stones. The dove has little cabochon red garnet eyes and is full of character.
The dove is made from silver and is likely to have been adapted from a stickpin, though it came to me as it is. It has a lovely weight for its size giving it a real feel of quality.
