Victorian Turquoise Enamel Locket

A beautiful locket from the late Victorian period. The locket is made from 9ct gold to the back and front and wonderful turquoise enamel has been applied around it. It has an oval ‘bowl’ in the middle of the front with a beautifully detailed wild flower at the centre. The flowers have little seed pearl centres and the leaves have lovely detail in their veins. The locket opens to reveal two perfect fitting 9ct gold frames, both with their original glass.

The locket is a good size overall and is ideal for pictures. The chains in the photographs are display only.

Size - The locket measures approx 28mm long excluding the bail, by 23mm

Condition - Very good. Enamel is in very good condition overall with only one tiny nick in a corner as pictured.
