Victorian Turquoise Flush Mount Ring
A beautiful quality ring from the mid Victorian period, dated London 1864. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold and has lovely full English hallmarks on the inside of the shank. The date stamp is a little rubbed, but certainly seems to be for 1864. The ring has a wonderful, chunky appearance and is set to the top with five natural turquoise. The turquoise show variation in colour as you would expect from a ring of this age, with some appearing more green than others. The mount is substantial with a tactile, rounded edge, and the ring has a real presence on the hand. Such a beauty!
