Vintage 10kt Gold Turquoise Book Locket
A lovely locket from the middle of the 20th Century. The locket is made from solid 10kt gold and has been made in the shape of a book with a hinged spine and lines in the side of the book to represent the pages. The front and back are textured and the gold has a lovely rich colour. To the front, a little turquoise is set in a crimped setting and there is an antler motif with some little waves underneath. I am not sure what these represent, though they are beautifully done. The locket is lovely quality and has a good secure click when the front is closed. The compartment inside is fairly deep and could easily hold a picture or your own momento. There are no frames, though the inside has a natural lip where the spine is and a photo could be put behind this.
The locket will come on a 14kt gold fill chain similar to the one pictured.
