Vintage 14kt Blue Enamel Horseshoe Hoops
A lovely pair of hoop earrings from the mid 20th Century. The earrings are made from 14kt gold, marked 585, and are a hollow construction making them lightweight in the ear. The hoops have been made in the shape of horseshoes and have wonderful blue enamel ‘smiles’ in the gold. The blue is a lovely, bright colour and contrasts beautifully with the gold. Horseshoes are said to bring luck and these offer a perfect way to wear this historic symbol.
