A striking ring from the late 20th century, c1970s. The ring is made from solid silver and has a stunning cabochon amethyst set in a claw setting. The amethyst is a vibrant purple with attractive natural inclusions visible within. The claws are fairly chunky and there is a beautiful feeling of design about this ring. The shank is curved to the interior to fit around the finger and angular to the outer to tie in with this design aesthetic. Such a lovely one.
