Vintage 9kt Chunky Square Ring
A wonderful and unusual ring from the late 20th Century, c1980s. The ring is made from solid 9kt gold and has a wonderful square appearance on the outside whilst being circular on the inside. It has two solid plates that are joined with a cut out heart design (shown on the interior). This has then been wrapped with multiple strands of 9kt gold wire to create a brilliant industrial style design. The ring has a plain 9kt hallmark and a more recent hallmark that is likely to have been added. This often happens if a piece is bought into a shop secondhand and is to be sold in a brick and mortar jewellery store. Legally, all items must be hallmarked in this case.
