Vintage Coral & 18ct 'Tin Man' Pendant
A wonderful, quirky charm from the mid to late 20th Century. The charm is made from 18ct gold and the gold is a rich yellow colour. He has a central gold body with moving arms and legs and is topped by a gold hat. The limbs are gold wire with gold and coral beads threaded onto them. The natural coral is a beautiful bright reddish colour and looks perfect with the gold. Such a lovely quality large charm or pendant, which is reminiscent of the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz. The Tin Man came to represent a character that is honest and true and highlighted that it is important to have a heart.
