A pretty necklace from the late 20th Century, c1970s. The necklace is made from 9ct gold and has a classic flat figaro link chain, popular during this period. Hanging from the chain is a little t-bar charm. The gemstones in the t-bar spell out the word ‘Dearest’, a popular acrostic message revived from the Victorian period. The gemstones in this particular piece are: Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, Tourmaline. The t-bar moves freely on the chain and could be removed to use the chain for something else if desired.
