Vintage Emerald & Diamond Band Ring
A lovely, easy to wear ring from the mid 20th Century, dated Chester 1960. The ring is made from solid 9ct gold and has a beautiful, tactile feel with a slightly curved inner. The simple band has been set with a natural emerald and diamonds in a rub over setting. Inside, the word Fidelity has been applied. I have seen these bands before, though they are more often plain wedding bands. The gemstones may have been added later or it could have been made this way originally. Either way, I love the addition of the stones; it has been done expertly, preserving all the features of the ring. The ring has a real feel of quality and looks perfect worn alone or in a stack.
