Vintage Fishing Fly Charm

£0.00
sold out

A curious little charm from the mid 20th Century, dated Birmingham 1964. The charm has full English hallmarks and is made from solid 9ct gold. It has a little fishing fly mounted on a mother-of-pearl background. The fishing fly really does mimic an aquatic insect and there is a lovely charm about this piece. A fishing fly has come to symbolise a connection to nature and a love of solitude. I love the unassuming nature of it.

The chain pictured is for display only.

Details:

Materials - 9ct Gold (marked), Mother of Pearl

Age - Dated Birmingham 1964

Size The charm measures approx 14.9mm in diameter excluding the bail.

Condition - Very good.

Weight - 1.5g
