Vintage French Qu Hier Ring
A wonderful vintage ring from France. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold and has a medallion at the centre with ‘+ Qu Hier - Que Demain’. This relates to a line from a French poem by Rosemonde Gérard Rostand and means ‘more than yesterday, less than tomorrow’. There are many of these romantic love tokens available in various shapes and sizes and they are normally worn as pendants. It is rarer to find the rings. This is a particularly lovely example with the openwork basket and a diamond in the plus and synthetic rubies in the minus sign.
