Vintage Gold & Palladium Band Ring

sold out

A pretty band ring from the early to mid 20th Century, c1940s. The ring is made from 9ct gold and palladium, marked on the inside of the shank along with a patent mark. The use of palladium in jewellery increased during WW2 to replace platinum, which was needed for the war effort.

This ring appears mainly yellow gold with palladium stations, each one set with a tiny diamond. It is a pretty band and I always love to find a mix of metals in an item.
