An awesome necklace from the late 20th Century. I am a huge fan of items with hallmarks on the outside and I have not had a heart shaped necklace before. This necklace has full, crisp English hallmarks for Birmingham 1979 and a makers mark of D&F for Deakin & Francis. They have been in business since 1786 and are said to be England’s oldest jewellery manufacturer.
This necklace has a 9ct gold heart pendant that moves freely along the lovely cable chain. It is certainly beautifully made and has a real feel of quality about it.

Age - Dated Birmingham 1979
Size - The heart measures approx 16mm high by 14.8mm wide. The chain is around 18” long.
Condition - Excellent
